About Shuna

The pier on Shuna was built around 1908, to facilitate building of the (now derelict) castle on the island.

The pier provides all tide states access to shallow draught vessels (less than 3 feet at MLWS), and around 12 foot draught at MHWS.

There is a newly rebuilt (2004) slipway next to the pier.
