About Rockcliffe

Rockcliffe lies on Rough Firth where the River Urr flows into the Solway. Rockcliffe has in fact had very little recorded history before its late 1800s development as a resort.

The disused jetty lies below the Baron's Craig Hotel, which was once the estate house for the village.
