About Drimnin

A small foot and cycle ferry operates on Mondays and Fridays across the sound from Tobermory in Mull, to Drimnin, also calling at Laga Bay on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. As can be seen in 'More Photos', the ferry hitches up to a moored pontoon, which it then drags to steps adjacent to the old slipway, which is too slippery and dangerous for passengers to use.
